Gastroenterology Specialties, PC Hiring for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Lincoln, NE Full Time

We are a busy Gastroenterology office with 29 Providers. We are looking for a team-oriented individual to provide great customer service to our patients! This individual should show great attention to detail and a passion for healthcare. We are currently expanding our Practice and are looking to bring on additional team members to help accommodate for the increased number of patients we will be seeing!

JOB SUMMARY :
Assists Provider with patient care, sets up rooms, performs office tests, gives injections, and performs clerical duties. Rooms patients, takes vitals, and assists Provider in room for clinic appointments. Provides health education and directs the appropriate level of care. Documents the details of each patient visit and call. Conducts follow-up calls to assess the outcome of the initial advice provided and may re-triage if the prior presenting symptoms worsen. Completes pre-procedure education and instruction with patients. Must be licensed as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Schedule:

Full-time hours vary depending on clinic schedule between Monday-Friday from starting between 7:30am – 8:30am and finishing between 4:30pm – 5:00pm each day. This position would have most Friday afternoons off!
