Garney Construction Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Flowery Branch, GA, United States Full Time

WARREN ENVIRONMENTAL

As the Logistics Coordinator in Gainesville, GA you will have logistic knowledge in working with hazmat ordering, shipping, and documents.

You will also be required to have ISO 9001 : 2015 knowledge or have the ability to obtain the training and apply. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work on their own with little direction, and adaptable to ever changing daily workload.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Ensure that the telephone is answered promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain office supplies, verify and order personal protective equipment as needed.
• Manage accounts receivable including collection efforts to ensure that all accounts are collected and reviewed with management for those.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor payments.
• End of month inventory printout and entry.
• Support the Operations Manager with Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, monthly and weekly production ing, Invoicing completed orders, receiving parts / inventory.
• Perform internal audits.
• Maintain all ISO documentation including any document revisions, meeting notes, audits records.
• Maintain all shipping records, complete necessary documents for shipping material.
• Provide support and to obtain new Supplier paperwork and forward to Accounts Payable at Garney.
• Safety Training assignment and work with Garney to ensure all information entered is accurate.
• Contact freight forwarder for Customer’s orders. Verify freight movement and follow-up with Customer. Develop Bill of Lading for Hazmat material and forward to carrier for full truckload shipments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Administrative personnel shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum five (5) years experience managing an office in a Job Shop environment.

Logistics and shipping manufacturing plant experience.

High attention to detail

A solid understanding or the ability to comprehend codes and regulations along with computer skills.

Will need to learn HazMat Shipping, ISO 9001- : 2015, and obtain 49CFR certificate.
