The Role:

Based in the HR team the Talent Acquisition Manager will have overall responsibility for managing and developing the recruitment team to ensure a pro-active resourcing service is delivered throughout the Group. Within this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the Group’s recruitment practices, taking account of current employment legislation and business objectives, and amending and developing recruitment processes accordingly.

This is a fast paced, high volume role in which you will build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and provide advice and coaching to the management team on all aspects of recruitment. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will also design and implement tools and strategies to ensure that GAP continues to attract the best candidates on the market by monitoring innovations and trends in recruitment practices whilst making recommendations for improvement where appropriate. This will include working closely with the Marketing Team to ensure the delivery of an effective social media communication strategy to promote the Group as an employer of choice.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience of developing and managing a high-performing recruitment team, preferably within a high-volume, internal HR environment
• Experience designing and implementing effective resourcing strategies across a complex medium-large business, utilising a variety of online sourcing channels
• Previous experience of employer branding and creating marketing campaigns to become the employer of choice within the industry/sector
• Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong reporting skills with the ability to interpret MI data and provide solutions to recurring recruitment challenges
• Sound knowledge and understanding of employment law and recruitment best practice
• Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word is essential whilst previous experience using Talent Soft is desirable
