The Role

Acting as CEM, you will oversee an abundance of multi-disciplinary work, commencing on either a thriving portfolio or a singular large project whilst playing having a fundamental role in tendering for CP7 Frameworks.

You will be leading a successful team as Senior Design Manager and will take full responsibility for increasing the Engineering competency and capability across your projects whilst supporting the project teams in delivering the works by providing your technical expertise.

Package

For this position, the company is offering a basic salary of £70,000 to £82,000 per annum, the choice of a company car or car allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, funding and support with professional memberships, Pension, Healthcare, and Life assurance.

About you

If you want to hit the ground running in this role, it is essential that you’re either an established CEM or you have acted as a CRE on several projects as you will find occasionally act as CRE in this role.

Candidates will only be considered who have a significant background on multi-disciplined rail projects including civil engineering, P-way, OLE, M&E, Signalling etc.

Communication is key in this role, so you’ll be somebody able to build close working relationships and able to work harmoniously with others. An ambitious individual, eager to maximise their professional capabilities will be ideal to match the culture of this company and fulfil your career goals.

You must be able to display some experience working in a contractor environment either as CEM/PM/Design Manager/CRE etc.
