This Tier 1 giant have an urgent requirement for an established BIM Technician or Senior BIM Technician – with significant experience using Revit – to join their design division and work on medium to large projects for very well-known clients in the Environmental industry.

The Opportunity:

Your role as BIM Technician will see you commence work on a variety of water projects for major clients and you will be based on either one large project or a series or smaller scale works – all of which will consist of water treatment plants, wastewater, clean water, reservoir works etc. This is an exceptional chance for somebody looking to break into a new industry! Disciplines involved will consist of Civils, M&E and Buildings.

What is expected of me as BIM Technician?             

• You will develop, lead, and manage the production of PMEICA design, incorporating any outsourced design by Design Consultants and Sub-contractors throughout the design phase of projects.
• You will act as the key contact for the business unit’s BIM technical requirements.
• You will respond to the Clients technical requirements.
• You will develop the outline BEP into Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP).
• You will lead BIM workshops.
• BIM design and coordination duties will include a policing role using Revit, Civils 3D, BIM360, ReCap Pro, Dalux or other tools.

Reward and renumeration:

This role comes with a fantastic basic salary circa £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, on top of your basic salary you can have the choice of a company car or a car allowance. Along with a matched pension (percentage dependant on age), 28 days holiday + bank holidays, private health insurance, life assurance and two charity leave days.

About You:

The vacancy requires somebody who can hit the ground running so you will only be considered if you’re an established BIM Technician who has a proven track working with Revit in the Civil engineering industry.

Ideal candidates will come from a process background such as Water, Wastewater, Oil and Gas, Brewery, EFW, WTE, etc however you will be considered if you have a significant civils background from other industries.

This role is ideal for somebody who wants to progress as there are multiple progression opportunities available within the company so you must be ambitious and looking for somewhere to succeed!

• Detailed knowledge of Revit, Civils 3D, AutoCAD, ReCAP Pro, Navisworks Manage, BIM360 and Dynamo for Revit.
• HND/HNC in relevant industry
