A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As a remote Software Engineer, you dive into your day’s work from home-or from anywhere else on the planet. Your main responsibility is the development of new value-added features for a variety of 2D, 3D, and VR applications. To do this, you work closely with the lead architect for our test automation framework as well as with our customers so that you understand their automation needs. You also serve as 2nd-level customer support as you innovate new testing methodologies in Immersive Experiences.

Because of your strong communication skills, helping with documentation is one of your tasks. Another is to demonstrate the use of our product through the creation of simple game scenes. You will also integrate your game developments with future and existing supported platforms, including Windows, macOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation, Xbox, and various others for VR and AR. In short, your day is full of the kinds of interesting software engineering challenges you thrive on. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Experience with game development in Unity or Unreal Engine

Solid experience with DevOps and CI/CD-related technologies

Solid experience with C++, C#, Python, and command-line scripting

SCM experience using Git solutions, Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.

Solid experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, Pytest, and Selenium

Experience with building test frameworks or infrastructure

A bachelor’s degree in computer science would be strongly preferred. Are you passionate about tools engineering and game development?
