Gallatin Valley YMCA Hiring for Early Learning Director, Training, Curriculum and Onboarding Coordinator Full Time

About us: We are under new management and excited to now welcome another leader to the team. We have an excellent staff team in place to support the center we currently have open. We are in the midst of opening our second center in Belgrade, and expect to expand to a third center within 18 months. This position will support all aspects of expansion and recruitment. You will be supporting the VP of Early Learning, and the current Coordinator who is also responsible for some of the work described here. You would be joining an incredible group of people!

This position is responsible for being in the classroom 1 day a week bi-weekly completing assessments and providing oversight and support to the teachers and Coordinator. For ex.Benchmark of Quality. (BoQ) This position provides oversight of the CACFP, STARS, Creative Curriculum/TSG, and Licensing process. Knowledge and experience with Pyramid Model is also an asset.

• Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations.
• Responsible for ensuring that our center meets state licensing requirements.
• Responsible for conducting monthly audits of Teacher Professional Development hours including but not limited to licensing and STARS.
• Support all aspects of healthy communication amongst staff including with teachers to ensure that all teachers are accruing the appropriate number of professional development hours.
• Conduct licensing file inspections on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with Coordinator and VP, as well as Teachers to ensure classroom environments, materials, and culture fully support the Y mission and best practices within Early Childhood.
• Assess communications through TSG (Teaching Strategies Gold), Brightwheel, and consistent use of these programs.
• Responsible for onboarding Y employees through Paylocity.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining training materials for staff onboarding.
• Responsible for shared oversight of data collection.
• Responsible for completing some supervision and some annual performance reviews.
• Will support building healthy and positive relationships with families and our community members to ensure that they feel heard and supported, and that we are providing the most effective services.
• Supports fund-raising.
• Must be CPR & First Aid certified, or become within 30 days.
• Must clear a state criminal background check.
• Must complete/maintain the minimum Professional Development hours required by the state.
• Preference will be given to those with ECE experience, as well as business experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience preferred, including experience in successfully creating healthy work environments and healthy culture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc,
• CPR and First Aid Certifications – Must obtain within 30 days of hire. Training Provided.
• Experience working in fast paced environments where customer service is the number one priority.
• Experience in various aspects of training, onboarding and building curriculum.
• Experience hiring, training, and developing staff is preferred.

SCHEDULE:

This position will be scheduled in office, Monday-Friday between 7:15-5:15 pm. Evenings are occasionally required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salaried position $48000 – $55000 DOE, and room for growth.
