Galena Lodge Hiring for Line Cook, Nordic Ski Instructors And Restaurant at Ketchum, Idaho Full Time

Seeking experienced professionals for our winter season at Galena Lodge in the Boulder Mountains in Central Idaho. We are hiring talented cooks, dynamic Nordic ski instructors, and outgoing servers who want to be able to ski or snowshoe right out the door. We operate a busy lunchtime restaurant, a cross country ski school, and rental shop and maintain and rent 4 backcountry yurts.  Applicants should have a variety of work experiences, enjoy the outdoors, and be ready to work hard with a positive attitude.

Season starts November 12th and runs through April 7th. Our staff is a tight-knit active group. We provide housing, meals, and competitive wages. On average, our staff earns over $20/hour with minimal expenses. We are 23 miles from the nearest town (Ketchum). Our county has the highest vaccination rate in Idaho but obviously, Covid is a dynamic situation and we will be monitoring and adapting to up-to-date guidelines. We recommend that employees get vaccinated. We have great access to Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and awesome backcountry skiing…we have limited internet access, no television etc.
