Scholar Recruitment & Enrollment Manager
The primary focus of this position is scholar recruitment. This will take up 70% of the individual’s time and energy. The remaining 30% will be involved in special projects and parent relationship development.
Manage all scholar recruitment activities with a goal of 100% enrollment
– Conduct evening and weekend parent orientations
– Communicate with current families to ensure 90%+ re-enrollment
– Attend community events to promote scholar recruitment
– Meet with existing families at school events and during school day
– Design and implement visual recruitment campaigns
– Implement social media campaigns
– Create and manage an organized recruitment program on an ongoing basis
Manage Recruitment Systems
– Manage scholar enrollment platform
– Manage targeted mailings both internal and external
– Manage all scholar files related to new enrollment ensuring full compliance
Manages Enrollment Process
– Create new scholar files
– Ensures new scholars are in compliance with local and states requirements
– Communicates with the district on new enrollments
– Meets with parents for the withdrawal process.
Environment of Welcome
– Meet with perspective parents and provide accurate information with a high level of customer service
– Proactively call existing and prospective parents
– Develop swag appropriate to the recruitment process
Alumni Relations
– Provides support as needed.
Events
– Assist the Administration in preparing for all school events including but not limited to parent orientations, open house, school openings, professional development events, athletic events, volunteer events, fundraising events and graduation.
Parent/ Stakeholder Communication
– Send out mailings to parents and other stakeholders to promote events
– Participate in the planning of family oriented events
Special Projects
– Assist in the planning and organizing related to a variety of special projects as it related to After School X, Project Passport and other programming.
– Attend job fairs.
Be a representative of the school to visitors, families, donors, and guests
– Effectively communicate Galapagos’ mission, vision, and values
– Understand and communicate academic programming, results, and initiatives
Perform duties not described above that are deemed necessary to ensure the smooth operation of Galapagos Rockford Charter School
