Gainesville Christian Community School, an independent, Christ-centered PreK-12th grade school, is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. Gainesville Christian Community School is committed to spiritually and academically shaping minds, hearts and lives to prepare students to engage their culture for Christ. We are seeking an administrator who is passionate about Christian education, enthusiastic about working with children from diverse backgrounds and has the creativity and organizational skills needed to create a special and engaging learning environment.

Candidates should be able to:

• Demonstrate a clear Christian testimony and walk with Christ.
• Assist the principal in the execution of GCCS’s vision & mission while establishing a nurturing learning environment where students and staff achieve and thrive.
• Effectively communicate with parents and staff to keep them informed of relevant events and issues.
• Assist the principal in development of curriculum and assessment procedures that support student learning and enrichment.
• Train, supervise, and review school faculty according to school policy.
• Assist in the resolution of non-academic and behavioral problems that interfere with students receiving the maximum benefit from the school’s educational programs.
• Recognize the unique challenges of classroom teachers and lead them to pursue excellence in their performance and in organizational culture.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and display courteous, professional, and helpful behavior in all interactions with staff, students and parents.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.
