We are looking for an exceptional recruitment and Talent specialist who will partner with a group of operations managers, accountable for delivering and supporting them in attracting and nurturing the best talent across their areas, making GAIL’s the best place to work and grow.

The Role:

Attracting the best Talent

  • Devising clear attraction strategies across all roles within your areas utilizing job boards, headhunting and social media.
  • Screening and selecting the best candidates
  • Supporting and upskilling all bakery leaders to select, recruit and develop their teams
  • Reviewing and evolving recruitment processes and experiences for all candidates wishing to join GAIL’s
New Bakery Openings

  • Driving and setting recruitment strategy for all New Bakery Openings within your area
  • Ensuring all recruitment tactics on the critical path is being delivered on time
  • Deep diving into local recruitment solutions, reviewing data and insight to steer strategy.
  • Work with your Operations Managers on internal transfers and secession planning to support the openings
Succession Planning

  • Working alongside Operations Managers to devise clear headcount and succession planning strategies within your area
  • Having regular succession planning meetings with your Operations Managers to ensure clear visibility of Talent and recruitment needs within your area
Rise with GAIL’s – Talent progression

  • Supporting all progression requests and facilitating applications to Talent days within your area
  • Attending Talent days and ensuring clear feedback is actioned and followed up.
  • Partnering with your Operations Managers to develop breadheads within your bakeries on their Rise with GAIL’s journey.
  • Working with L&D to ensure training and development plans are followed up.
What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 plus years’ experience either leading or partnering a recruitment function
  • Previous experience of driving succession planning within an organisation or area.
  • Good knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry or consumer facing businesses.
  • Good working knowledge of all recruitment and talent processes
  • Creative, innovative and disruptive in your thought process
  • Natural problem solver and strong collaborative work approach
  • Naturally positive mindset (always wearing positive pants)
  • Strong written English
  • Engaging with a good sense of fun
  • Strong communication skills and able to confidently address a room
  • Good head for data and analytics
  • Organised and focused on the details
