Gagne & Son Concrete Hiring for Yard Picker/Forklift Operator at Belgrade, ME Full Time

Roles and Responsibilities

• Pick and load orders for customer deliveries and pick ups
• Safely load and unload materials from vendor and customer vehicles
• Accurately count and cross-check deliveries and receiving against shipping manifests, sales orders and other paperwork
• Assist with other duties as needed
• Pick loads for Gagne trucks as well as any customer pickup orders (Put warehouse pallets with loads)
• Help/load any walk-in customers
• Check in and put away customer returns
• Organize and maintain yards

– Consolidate/reorganize pallets of product

– Pick up any trash, plastic, or other debris

– Pick up any empty or broken pallets

– Refill customer rows with more product when low

• Help unload Gagne trucks with product or pallets coming back
• Maintain forklift

– Regularly wash and grease forklift as well as blow out the cab

• Help with shoveling and cleaning off cubes during the wintertime
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must follow directions well and be a team player
• Forklift experience (large off road forklift experience a plus)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
• COVID Vaccination
• Must be able to lift between 50-100lbs regularly.
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills
• A background in masonry or landscape construction is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
