Gaggle Studios is Looking for Game Economist Full Time

As a Game Economist, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing in-game economies to ensure a balanced and engaging experience for players. You will work closely with game designers, data analysts, and developers to develop and implement systems that drive player engagement and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of in-game economies and player behavior to identify areas for optimization
• Develop and implement systems to improve player engagement and monetization
• Work with game designers and developers to ensure that game mechanics and economies are well-balanced and fun for players
• Monitor and analyze game data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with data analysts and marketing teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive player acquisition and retention

Requirements:

• Educational background in analytics, mathematics, economics preferred
• 3+ years of experience working on shipped titles in a game economist or similar role
• Background in game theory and/or economics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
