We are currently recruiting a Logistics Manager, ing to our Senior Director, Supply Chain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Gadge’s network of 3PL providers and freight carriers.
The Logistics Manager provides oversight for the day-to-day activities related to warehouse and freight. This position will oversee all day-to-day operations and engage in strategic planning that allows for individual and company growth, process improvements, and margin impact.
What You Will Do :
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals responsible for managing relationships with 3PL partners
Ensure day-to-day operations are working smoothly and maintain accuracy of all warehouse inventories through weekly reconciliations, cycle counts and annual physical counts
Ensure department provides timely and accurate resolutions and responses to all stakeholders internally and with 3PL partners
Identify continuous improvements in service, productivity, and cost control
Manage and build strong relationships with 3PL partners and source new 3PL and freight partners
on and drive improvements on department KPI’s and metrics
Recommend and implement efficient receiving, storage, and shipping practices of products
Develop cross functional relationships with all departments and collaborate on process improvements
Manage 1-2 direct s including Logistics Specialists; provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to ensure delivery of high performance and quality of deliverables
Requirements
Must-Haves :
3 – 5 years distribution warehousing management experience
2 – 3 years of experience with people management
Experience with domestic freight carriers
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Inventory management skills and experience, including but not limited to, cycle counts, analytics, investigations of loss, etc.
Strong leadership and managerial skills and demonstrated success developing logistics talent
Strong written and verbal communications skills with internal and external partners
Proficient computer skills with ability to learn processes and systems quickly
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
Nice-to-Haves :
Experience with international freight
Experience negotiating with warehouses, freight companies, and other vendors or suppliers

This role will be based in our office located at 3000 Marcus Avenue, Suite 3E03, Lake Success, NY 11042.
The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $100,000 commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
