Systems Engineer Location : Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Job Description :

• Serve as a systems engineer and SME for all technical and operational solutions
• Develop requirements, product performance, schedule, and technical artifacts
• Support Edge Node pilots and evaluation of Edge Node platforms
• The Edge Node support will provide analysis and : o Manage the cost layout across all pilots o Maintain collaborative Working Groups and Technical Exchange Meetings
• Provide documentation that demonstrates the transition of prototyping activities
• Provide documentation including : o Service Performance Metrics o Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) o Project artifacts (Minimum Viable Product Requirements, DoDAF Artifacts)
• Assist in the execution of Test and risk reduction test activities
• Assist in the creation of test procedures, cases, threads, and scenarios
• Coordinate engineering reviews for system configurations
• Provide Senior Systems Engineering personnel to support strategic analysis of : o Product Data Models o Ontologies o Early prototype and architecture development
• Support development and assessment of RFIs, RFPs, etc., Qualifications :
• BS in computer science or related
• 10+ years or experience in a senior systems engineer role o Working to assess solutions o Develop systems o Support all phases of the systems development process
• Experience developing and / or scripting automation of system processes and implementation
• Has developed solutions for implementations to support complicated data centric problem sets
• In depth understanding of IT governance policies and methodologies, and the DODAF
• Understanding of systems security requirements for secure operations
• Strong software Test background (preferred)
• Familiarity with software development teams process and operations (preferred)
• Experience as DevSecOps Product Owner / SCRUMMaster and / or Systems of Systems Test Support
• Cloud background with Amazon basic services
• Experience with development, implementation, and maintenance of Cross-Domain solutions
• Hardware experience for oversight of product including Radio 3G and MUOS (preferred) Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS / SCI Preferred) Job Type : Full-time Salary : $160,000-$200,000
