G2 Recruitment Group Limited Looking for Off-Shore Structural Engineer at Netherlands Full Time

My off-shore client in the Netherlands is looking for a structural engineers to join their team to help out with the Transportation and Implementation of their wind farms. They are offering long term contracts and are looking to start people immediately.

Daily Tasks

• Detail design and concept performance of offshore fit for purpose lifting arrangements and steel structures, such as lift points, lift arrangements lifting appliances, and sea fastening; and grillage
• Review structural documents and reports
• Perform verification analyses for structural strength (Using packages such as ABAQUS & SACS)
• Complement the continually improving and learning organization by i.e. actively sharing knowledge and experiences and identifying and providing follow up to subjects for improvement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor and/or Master degree Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering;
• 5 + years’ off-shore experience
• A solid understanding of offshore structural engineering;
• Excellent analytical, practical and pragmatic skills;
• Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written;
• Supervisory and coaching skills to provide guidance of less experienced engineers;
