HR Generalist – Remote

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist role focused on a variety of projects and programs in a fast-growing organization. This role, which s to the Director, Human Resources is responsible for end-to-end process of Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), management of benefits programs, leaves of absence, systems administration, onboarding, offboarding, compliance and other people or talent related programs as part of a collaborative, flexible Human Resources team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, background checks and supporting hiring managers through offer stage
• Manage multiple jobs at once with the ability to build relationships with all key stakeholders including candidates, hiring managers and internal functional teams such as payroll, marketing, etc.
• Work directly with firing managers in departments throughout the company to provide staffing assistance including position description development, position posting, resume sourcing, resume review, candidate prescreens and evaluations, reference checking, employment and education confirmation, interview scheduling, development of candidate interview information packets, post-interview evaluations, and maintenance of candidate files and the candidate database
• Own the strategy to recruit all levels of candidates including niche, technical candidate talent pools
• Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners
• Source, interview, and evaluate candidates in a timely manner
• Drive the offer process, including closing candidates on offers and offer letters
• Network and maintain relationships with key talent communities for active and passive opportunities
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as brand ambassador when representing LFG
• Manage jobs in TriNet (ATS) and eventually SmartRecruiters through monitoring and progress ing
• Work closely with hiring teams to effectively develop clear and successful hiring strategies, while setting clear expectations with a strong understanding of broader business needs; create service level agreements (SLAs) and lead the intake meeting process
• Responsible for the onboarding process for all new hires, providing an exceptional employee experience so employees are well informed, educated and all set up for their first day and successfully handed off to the manager
• Oversee the processing of all documents necessary for implementation of various benefit programs and maintenance of records as required for compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PPACA and other applicable regulations
• Manage projects including benefits open enrollment, SOX audits and compliance ing
• Partner with the Director, Human Resources to manage the process of annual planning, developing and communicating company programs (i.e., Internship and Co-Op programs)
• Partner with the Legal Department to serve as the conduit to Kempster Immigration for all Visa-related matters
• Responsible for accurate, timely and well-designed employee communication strategies related to programs and policies this role owns
• Sets up the Human Resources team for success in any IT or government related audits that may arise; main point of contact for audits for the Human Resources team
• Manage the day-to-day payroll operations ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll in a fast-paced organization
• Ensure payroll transaction are processed correctly for time, earnings, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other items that affect pay and/or company liability
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience with demonstrated experience in benefits administration and leaves of absences (e.g., FMLA, ADA, disability) facilitation
• Experience in multi-site/dispersed employee base
• Experience using various platforms and HRIS systems Prior experience in a fast-paced scale-up environment is a plus
