The Opportunity

We are offering an exceptional candidate a full-time Lead Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

First Grammar Baulkham Hills offers a comprehensive early education program with a strong play-based learning curriculum. Children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. Our long day care and early education centre provides child care in Baulkham Hills that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Castle Hill, Bella Vista, Winston Hills and West Pennant Hills. At capacity our centre caters for 39 children with opening hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

Our approach to early childhood education and care centralizes the child as an active agent in their own learning, valuing the individual identity each child brings to our child care and early education centres.

Our centre is proud to have received Exceeding the National Quality Standard.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Successful Applicants must also hold

• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
