Who are we searching for?

We are looking for Production Supervisors to join our busy and growing team on our Day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Job Duties:

• Manage and train staff to effectively meet the production demands with focus on safety, quality and efficiency
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment for all staff
• Work with a cross functional team of Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse to ensure all plant goals are achieved
• Ensure all employees are following EHS and Quality protocols
• Meet customer’s packaging requirements
• Ensure daily production targets are met, and downtime accounted for
• Complete and submit all daily reports and paperwork to CSR team
• Ensure all Quality tests and paperwork are complete and accurate
• Administrative duties such as scheduling, timecard approvals and daily production reports\Ensure that AWSA, Crop Life and ISO Protocols are met; ensure safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and computer skills with focus on Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of chemical safety and understanding the use of continuous improvement tools
• Mechanically inclined with ability to operate and troubleshoot required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and the tools required in various assembly processes
• Good communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Utilization of problem solving tools
• Critical eye for identifying defects, detail oriented, dependable, and reliable
• Minimum of 3 years of operations supervisory experience required, ideally in a fast paced industrial/commercial environment, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask

Working Conditions:

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Manual dexterity to work on various production lines for extended periods of time
• Overtime and “on call” as required
• TDG & Forklift Training considered an asset but not required
• Fast paced environment
