Funky Petals in downtown Penticton is hiring experienced florists and customer service associates, to start at the beginning of January.

Duties include:

Floral care and arranging

Providing top notch customer service throughout the entire shopping experience

Managing order requests

Cashier duties

Shop cleaning

Opening and closing duties

Who you are:

You have floral arrangement and care experience, and you take pride in your work. You are someone who values customer service above all else. You see every opportunity to make someone’s day. You enjoy working independently, and with others. You are confident being in the store by yourself, while multitasking many responsibilities. You are detail oriented in both your floral designs and in dealing with cash. You enjoy nurturing client relationships, and have stories about customers who come back time and time again to see you.

A little about us:

We are a business new to Penticton, but Funky Petals is part of a small, western Canadian franchise, with locations in Kelowna and Alberta. We believe that by putting customer service first, sales goals will naturally follow. We value people above all else, and want to help you attain your goals.

Positions:

$19 an hour to start, or more depending on experience, with a raise after 3 months.

To start around January 4th

Full time: shifts Tuesday – Saturday 1pm-6:30pm

Part time: shifts vary, evenings and weekends

Expected start date: 2022-01-07
