GENERAL SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will proactively recruit talent, maximize their effectiveness through a robust onboarding process, and facilitate ongoing training based on determining gaps and fulfilling training needs. In addition, this position will be working with the Human Resource Manager and Leadership to help develop an overall hiring strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

• Facilitate the full cycle hiring process
• Conducting interviews
• Pre-employment assessments and screenings
• Proactively recruit top talent
• Conduct and schedule on site interviews with appropriate personnel
• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates
• Extending offers
• Develop and revise Job Descriptions and expectations
• New employee orientation and managing onboarding for new hires including post-hire follow-up and review to ensure success
• Track metrics around the hiring process
• Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop working relationships with supervisors and managers to understand their staffing needs
• Consistent communication with candidates at all stages of the recruiting cycle
• Coordinate and participate in job fairs
• Work with local employment agencies
• Build and maintain the Company brand, ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Demonstrate Company core values
• Other duties as needed

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift or move items. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and on the phone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet. This position is subject to varying and unpredictable situations; may handle emergency or crisis situations; is subject to many interruptions; may handle multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously. Working in a typical office environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a manufacturing setting

• Competent in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to utilize and leverage innovative recruitment strategies including social media
