The Inventory and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the Inventory, Warehouse and Shipping departments in their day-to-day operations. This position will direct the different aspects of an organization’s supply chain initiatives, policies, and objectives. The Inventory and Logistics Manager will collaborate with clients to build relationships internally and externally. Salary exempt position managing a team of 12-15 employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

• Implement and direct processes to stabilize inventory levels for Production demands as well as Customer demands.
• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
• Collaborate with VP of Supply Chain to implement processes to improve operation costs, inventory control, on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee day-to-day Shipping operations.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve processes, safety, services and overall efficiencies.
• Meet departmental KPI’s.
• Manage guidelines and expectations for Inventory management.
• Model and promote Company values; committed to quality, principled, adaptability, collaborative, and innovative.
• Coaching, recognize strengths and developing team members.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS (include but are not limited to:)

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, stand, sit and walk. The employee must have the manual ability and dexterity to use a computer for prolonged periods of time, the cognitive, intellectual, and mental functions necessary to handle more than one complex task at a time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet. This position is subject to varying and unpredictable situations; may handle emergency or crisis situations; is subject to many interruptions; may handle multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously; and may occasionally handle absentee replacement on short notice.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Supervising and managing others.
• Minimum of 4 years of Inventory Management experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of Shipping experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills with external and internal contacts.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, inventory tracking and management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform data analysis and make decisions based off this data.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Cloudsuite is a plus.
