Fulton Academy of Science and Technology is seeking a talented first grade teacher to join our team as we add a new section! FAST is a charter school in the Fulton County school system.

About You: As a teacher you will engage in:

• Developing age and content appropriate lessons aligned to the FAST core curriculum Providing a classroom environment which promotes active learning in subject area
• Bringing innovation into your classroom
• Collaborating with other team members and administration
• Helping students gain critical, creative and problem solving skills
• Supporting and participating in school wide activities
• Ensuring classroom is attractive, safe, and conducive for learning
• Effectively communicating with parents and caregivers
• Supporting FAST’s mission and vision
• Creating a positive educational climate

Education and Training:

• A minimum of four year Bachelor degree required.
• A degree in education
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in applicable field required, or must be eligible to hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate
• Two years of demonstrated success as a full-time elementary classroom teacher preferred
