Probationary Full- Time Supported Learning Teacher (Gr. 7-9)

Position from August 27, 2026 until June 30, 2027 

Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Center (DRWLC) is looking to fill a 1.00 FTE full-time, temporary position for August 27, 2026 to June 30, 2027. DRWLC is located in the southeast area of the city and serves 700 students from ELP to grade 9. It is a dynamic and innovative school with a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences for students.

Our Supported Learning Classroom serves students in grades 7-9 who thrive in a smaller classroom setting and require additional supports, most specifically with literacy, numeracy and social emotional skills. This position will also involve teaching some additional junior high courses or options as required. Experience with multi-graded classrooms, differentiation, and ISPs will be an asset. Our school will also be piloting new junior high curriculum in the areas of Social Studies, PEW and CEFL. The ability to work collaboratively as a junior high team to plan engaging experiences for students will be important.
