Full-Stack Software Developer (New Graduate) – AI & Risk Intelligence Full Time NEW

JOB DESCRIPTION

MYXAR is an AI-first operations platform for member-based organizations, with an initial focus on marinas. The platform unifies operational data, workflows, and communications to enable real-time, intelligent decision-making. As MYXAR continues to expand its core platform, the company is also developing an environmental risk mitigation solution that leverages AI and sensor-driven data to help anticipate and prevent infrastructure damage.

This is a project-based role focused on the development and scaling of MYXAR’s core platform and its AI-driven risk intelligence solution. The successful candidate will work across the full technology stack, contributing to frontend development, backend services, data pipelines, and AI-driven features in a fast-paced, early-stage environment aligned with Canada’s Digital Industries and Clean Technology priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack features within the MYXAR platform, including frontend interfaces and backend services
• Design and build dashboards and visualization tools for operational and environmental data
• Contribute to the development of an environmental risk mitigation solution, integrating weather data, sensor inputs, and AI models
• Build and manage data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Contribute to AI/ML model integration for predictive analytics and early warning systems
• Support deployment, testing, and continuous improvement in live and pilot environments

SKILLS: Successful candidates possess the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (completed within the last 3 years)
• Experience with full-stack development (frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs)
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python
• Demonstrated experience working with AI tools, models, or AI-assisted development workflows (required)
• Experience with data processing, APIs, and cloud environments
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment

Assets (Strongly Preferred):

• Experience with Claude (Anthropic) or similar large language model tools
• Exposure to AI/ML model integration or prompt engineering
• Experience working with IoT, sensor data, or real-time systems

INTERNSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• 30 years of age or under
• Have graduated within the last three years with a degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Have not previously participated in a youth internship with FedNor’s Regional Economic Growth through Innovation (REGI) or any other federal or provincial internship program with pay for a period of six months or more
• Must reside in Northern Ontario or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship
