Job Title: Home Care Employment and Recruitment Coordinator

Job Summary: Maintaining continuity of the homecare hiring process by ensuring a continuous flow of qualified candidates for the homecare aide position, and working to expand and develop the program’s recruiting and hiring effectiveness, while abiding by all Washington State mandated hiring stipulations, and maintaining and updating the organization’s HRIS system.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the job:

• Communicates with candidates and existing homecare aide staff to ensure all new-hire documentation is completed within the Federal and State established timelines;
• Maintains continuous efforts to source, recruit and interview qualified candidates in order to maintain a constant flow of incoming talent;
• Coordinating with all candidates in participating in the Full Life Care Homecare interviewing-hiring-orientation step process;
• Closely tracking’s and monitors criminal background checks and ensure full compliance is meet pursuant to all Federal, State and employer established protocol;
• Adds new-hires, applies updates, and records all necessary employment data into the designated HRIS with high-level of accuracy;
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality with each candidate’s and new-hire’s personal information;
• Continuously up to-date on new State Homecare worker stipulations pertaining to hiring, maintaining employment and training requirements;
• Posts new homecare positions on various recruitment sites, with educational institutes, job boards and with various other posting resources;
• Communicates with Homecare Supervisors on a regular basis in providing insight with newly hired employees, conducts interview with supervisor when needed;
• Knowledgeable and adheres to employment law in association to new-hire practices, employer policies/procedures, homecare aide State qualification requirements, safety practices;
• Conducts all recruiting practices in compliance to of all State and Federal fair employment practices;
• Will coordinate with and direct administrative staff for problem solving, task-sharing to ensure that compliancy and efficiency is retained throughout the corresponding procedures;
• Maintains a compassionate and respectful environment by practicing good communication; skills and keeping client information confidential;
• Maintains HR office organization by receiving new-hire paperwork, creating personnel files, documenting, and filing;

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS of the job:

• Complete projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor,
• Participates in essential home care activities such as staffing, scheduling and supervising Home Care clients as needed;
• The ability to prioritize projects needing to be completed in a timely manner,

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 yr of HR experience as HR Assistant;
• Must be proficient in MS-office & web navigation
• Experience in HR-Recruiting & ADP preferred

Pay: $21.00 per hour
