Finance and Accounting Manager

Property management firm seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager that can work within a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. Applicants must have a broad range of bookkeeping experience and be able to handle the full cycle of accounting duties and other office tasks.

This is an in-person role due to the sensitive nature of our work. Remote or telework is not an option.
This job is ideal for someone that is dependable, easy to work with, client and customer oriented (able to work with many different types of personalities with a high degree of professionalism), detail driven, and is able to stay focused on the tasks at hand in a dynamic work environment.

Job duties include:

• Sending invoices and collection on multiple accounts

• Researching accounting related items when requested by customers
• A/P and A/R to include-check writing, bank deposits, processing of checks, credit card, and debit card payments, journal entries, and all other aspects associated with bookkeeping
• Coordination with Billing Specialist
• Bank reconciliations
• Completing timely and accurate weekly and monthly reports to customers
• Preparing annual budgets
• Other office duties when requested
• Proficient or able to quickly learn Yardi property management accounting software

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)

Education

• A.A or B.A in accounting or finance (preferred)
