• High leveltrouble shooting of client’s Systems, including Desktop hardwareand software.
• Heavily involved inIncident/Problem management processes.
• Involved in the resolving of complexfaults and issues.
• Analyzing oferror Log files and data dumps.
• Testing and evaluating new client Hardware and Software.
• Deployments and Provide technical advice and supportto our customers.

Responsibilities

General ReactiveFunctions

• Support of desktop,infrastructure and services across multiple technology streamsincluding, Hardware, OS, Software, Networks, Server, Print etc.
• Respond to and resolveincidents and SRs within agreed SLA and follow Fujitsu breachreporting process for any failed SLAs.
• Asset refresh, relocationdeployment and decommission maintaining data integrity within theCMDB.
• Maintenance andhousekeeping of customers physical infrastructure including but notlimited to desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices,audio/visual conferencing.
• Manage customer expectations bykeeping them updated as their case progresses, notifying of anydelays.
• All customerinteractions and activities are logged and maintained in the correctclient ITSM tool.
• Ensureprompt escalation of any operational issues.
• Ensure that all Timesheets andproject efforts are accurately recorded and submitted on time as percompany requirements.
• Ensureall required training is completed on time.
• Be aware WHS practices,instructions and policy as set out by Fujitsu and Customer and carry out other work asassigned by TL or Fujitsu management.

Proactive Role Functions

• Adherence to WHS policy andprocess, calling out concerns and working with TL to have incidentslogged as per policy.
• Create and maintain knowledge and technical documentation to ensureinformation is accurate and up to date including but not limited toTroubleshooting, How To Guides, and operational procedures.
• Provide Training on customer EUS devices to: , the Service Desk staff and Customer EndUsers to improve productivity and customer service.
• Contribution to operationalaction items, and continual service improvement plans.
• When requested assist withproject activities (internally or externally),
• When requested assist with RootCause remediation efforts; and
• Always have a CAN DO approachto your workties.

Experience:

• Demonstrated high leveltechnical knowledge of hardware and peripherals i.e. laptops,notebooks, workstations desktop PC’s, printers, media and audio visualequipment BYOD and mobility;
• Demonstrated advance knowledge of desktop & software applicationsi.e. Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10), Microsoft Office 2007through 365, Antivirus software and systems;
• Demonstrated high levelknowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End-PointImaging;
• Demonstrated anadvance working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and networkequipment i.e. routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA,Citrix, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructures;
• Strong verbal and writtencommunication, ability to articulate technical information to thetarget audience.
• Professionalcustomer service skills;
• Ability to work well within a team while fostering relationships andpartnerships; and
• Can do attitude.

Preferred

• Demonstrated a wealth of experienceand knowledge of the use of an incident management toolsets;
• Knowledge of Apple MAC, IOS andAndroid Operating Systems;
• Experience with a range of end user management tools including but notlimited to SCCM;
• Highfamiliarity in troubleshooting and maintaining PCs in a Windowsenvironment; and
• A wealth ofexposure to end user technology support.

Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in some circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption). Also, for client facing roles, some of our customers require our staff to be vaccinated to attend their workplaces. Based on Fujitsu’s assessment of workplace risk and the safety and wellbeing of our people and consultation with our staff, Fujitsu has a Vaccination Requirements policy which requires all new employees recruits to have received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations or have an approved medical exemption or otherwise be approved by the Crisis Management Team (CMT). Exemptions will need to be reviewed and approved by Fujitsu’s CMT, prior to being employed. Note that for some roles, employees may need booster vaccination(s) in accordance with a public health order or customer requirement. Recruits will be required to provide evidence of their vaccination status as part of the recruitment process.
