Summary

As a Software Developer, you will analyze and develop code for a preclinical ultrasound imaging system. This is a hands-on software development position with the opportunity to learn modern software design and development processes, and hardware integration with C++ on the Microsoft Windows platform. Work will involve development of graphical user interfaces and may include image analysis or signal processing to construct ultrasound images. Qualified candidates should have previous experience with Microsoft Windows software development and must possess a basic understanding of C, C++ and Windows API. Candidates must be team oriented and eager to work in a fast paced environment.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Build, debug, and verify software designs meet defined specifications
• Construct requirements specifications and implement features
• Work with software, hardware, and ultrasound system developers to develop and enhance application software
• Execute unit tests to ensure the accuracy of code changes

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Education:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience along with Internship.

Knowledge/Experience:
2-3 years of C/C++ experience

2-3 years of Windows API experience is an asset

1+ years of C#, WPF, XAML experience is an asset

Experience with ATL and COM is an asset

Experience with database is an asset

Experience with cloud computing is an asset

Experience with full life cycle of software development

Experience with medical software development is an asset

Basic signal processing is an asset
