WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Co-Manufacturing Manager role will be leading our business to establish and maintain successful toll production / sub-contract package manufacturer (co-manufacturers) parternships that provide value-add as a whole. It is currently based on orgainic growth and increased sales within target sales divisions, including OEM and Aftermarket. Key resposibilities of this role, but are not limited too:

• Manage 10 + current supplier relationships in addition to identifying new suppliers to partner within these segments to manage and fulfill the significant growth opportunities of new revenue, which will also mitigate supply interruption to the customer base
• Manage 5+ new identified opportunities in the growth pipeline, all with an immediate prioritization level
• Assist with moving priority projects forward – While the current resource responsible for this segment can manage a few projects concurrently, it is taking several months to complete each project due to the requirement to analyze each project, send out RFQ’s, review quotations, and setup new suppliers. These tasks are in addition to the heavy workload related to all the indirect purchasing which is managed by this team member
• Collaborate with leadership, key stakeholders, and internal teams to understand inputs, and contribute with solutions toward the market growth
• Lead a team of two in supporting the achievement of activities that align with the Supply Chain strategy
• Successfully manage the invetnory related to materials provided by Co-Manufaturers; inventory rotations, accuracy, etc

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain management, Business, or another related supply chain field
• 3+ years of experience working with co-manufacturers; preferrably chemical industry
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
• Project Management Experience required
• Team and people oriented, professional and displays a “can-do“ attitude
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• ERP planning experience required, SAP preferred
• Highly organized, detailed orientated and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (accuracy, timeliness, reliability, adaptability, and responsiveness)
• Leadership skills to include coaching, mentoring, training, etc
• Ability to travel occasionally for supplier visits
