The Europe, Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) region, consists of 30 offices located in 13 countries – Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Qatar, South Africa, Spain, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our EMEA Finance team for a Senior Accountant in our Segment Accounting team. The EMEA Finance organisation is a team of approximately 70 supporting the EMEA region of FTI Consulting across all areas of Finance: Billing, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounting, Tax and Planning & Analysis. This role is focused on accounting and supporting our business Segments in the reporting of their monthly P&L performance from revenue recognition through to EBITDA.
Reports to: Segment Finance Manager
Primary Duties
Participate in accounting for segment finance activities, primarily revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS, as well as experience with revenue recognition, reporting, and controls. This person will report to the Segment Finance Manager and interact with global finance colleagues.
