In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Work and learn as a member of small highly experienced FTI project teams in the areas of media, telecom and technology, engaged in wide range of projects, spanning the full corporate life cycle, in a collaborative and collegial environment.
• Engage directly with senior management teams (CEO / CFO level), boards of directors and senior investment professionals to navigate corporate challenges and events, including: helping to improve financial and operational business performance, advising companies or their stakeholders in balance sheet and operational restructuring (both in and out of Chapter 11), evaluating businesses in the context of strategic M&A or investment transactions, assisting in post-acquisition merger integration and carve outs and helping companies in developing business plans and corporate strategies. development.Apply business, economics, finance, accounting, problem solving and analytical skills to client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., financial modeling, operational and business process review, benchmarking, comparable company analysis, analysis of financial statements and projections, performing valuations and conducting business due diligence, etc.).
• Research, analyze, and track communications and media industry trends, events, and structure.
• Maintain detailed records reflecting assumptions, methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of engagements.
• Prepare detailed written reports and analyses to present engagements’ project scope of work, key findings and reccomendations.
• Supervise and develop junior staff on high profile client engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• 4 years professional experience
• Prior experience in professional services, consulting, investment banking or prior experience in Telecom, Media & Technology within investment banking or restructuring
• This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices

Colorado Pay Range: $139,000-204,000

This pay range is only applicable to roles being performed in the state of Colorado. If selected for this role, your compensation will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your education, skill set, level of experience and job level. Candidates should not expect to be paid at or near the top end of the range upon hire, however offers are entirely dependent on the candidate’s experience. Note that this pay range is a reasonable estimate of what FTI would anticipate to pay for this role but is not guaranteed.
