The Role
They are now seeking a highly skilled and clinically competent Territory Manager to join their dedicated team, specializing in structural heart solutions. As a Territory Manager, you will play a vital role in advancing the mission to provide life-changing cardiac interventions. Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in building trust with healthcare professionals and driving the adoption of their cutting-edge technologies. This is an incredibly diverse and challenging role, which is pivotal to their company’s success and high-achievers have the opportunity to progress their career significantly.
As this is a highly technical area it is imperative you have the ability to grasp the technical component of the business – a device representative with strong clinical or cardiac sales experience is preferred.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass territory sales targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and other specialists in the field of structural heart.
- Conduct in-depth clinical discussions, presentations, and product demonstrations to educate and engage healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
- Stay abreast of the latest clinical research, guidelines, and industry developments relevant to structural heart interventions.
- Effectively manage territory budgets and resources to optimize sales and profitability.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Life Sciences, Nursing, etc.). Advanced clinical degrees (e.g., RN, Biomed, Pharmacy, Medical Science) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful clinical experience in a healthcare team, with a strong emphasis on clinical knowledge and expertise.
- A commercial acumen and understanding of the sales methodology
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract important and relevant data
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and clinical education skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
