Located in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne (15kms from CBD), this nearly 2000-cohort Catholic All-Boys College is a progressive and innovative environment for students and staff.

The Role

• Work alongside and ing to the Assistant Principal – Student Wellbeing
• Manage the safety and wellbeing of the students
• Ensure staff understand the College policies
• Promote coordinated pastoral and management practices throughout the College
• Assist with organising some College assemblies and staff meetings
• Oversee the appropriate follow-up to incidents of student misbehaviour on public transport
• Participation in the Wellbeing Team meetings (Year 7-12)
• Leadership role is on a three-contract, the role holds an ongoing Teacher position

Selection Criteria

• Willingness to support the faith life, ethos of the College and personal faith formation
• A demonstrated understanding and expert knowledge of programs, practices and protocols for Student Well-Being, especially boys’ education
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, towards students, staff and parents
• Proven success as a teacher who models excellence in teaching and student well-being
• A commitment to ongoing personal professional development

Relevant Qualifications And Experience

• Hold VIT registration or be eligible
• Valid Working With Children and Police Check
• Up-to-date Professional Teachers’ Accreditation
