The Role

Assistant Principal | Teaching and Learning

The Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning plays a vital role in elevating student performance and enhancing the overall quality of education at the College. Their primary responsibility is to collaborate with the Teaching and Learning Executive and teachers to optimize teaching methods for the benefit of student learning and to maximize students’ academic potential.

Additionally, the Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning will work in close partnership with the Deputy Principal to foster the professional development of teaching staff. They will also collaborate with the Assistant Principal for Student Wellbeing to establish a robust connection between Pastoral Care and the Curriculum, creating a well-rounded approach to the educational experience.

Relevant Qualifications And Experience

• Hold VIT registration or be eligible
• Proven teaching success
• Experienced in leading innovative teaching and learning outcomes
• Valid Working With Children and Police Check
• Up-to-date Professional Teachers Accreditation
