Accounts Receivable Specialist (Fully Remote)

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience in QuickBooks Online, and extensive accounts receivable. The position will assist in the creation of financial transactions and generating of reports from that information. The AR Specialist will also need experience in reconciling accounts. They will help to create and implement new processes and procedures.

Services and Deliverables:

• Preparation and sending of invoices
• Keeping track of monthly accounts receivable and collections
• Recording and Reconciling payments
• Resolving payment discrepancies
• Maintaining billing accounts and records
• Producing reports as required by management
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Prepare receipts for processing
• Data Entry
• Assist Finance Manager with daily accounting tasks as directed
• Perform administrative support functions
• Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excels in a team environment

Job Requirements:

• QuickBooks Online Pro
• 5 + years of experience with accounts receivable
• 5 + years of experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Process implementation
• Highly detail oriented and dedicated to accuracy
• Ability to analyze large sets of data
• High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions

Desired Qualifications:

• QuickBooks Online Certified
• Associates degree or higher in accounting or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
