Frontier Communications seeks a Talent Acquisition Manager responsible for our Union Organization’s day-to-day leadership and recruiting efforts across the footprint. This individual will work with departmental leadership to determine staffing needs and ensure the Union team is staffed per State and Federal regulations, the applicable Bargaining Agreement, and Company policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate hiring targeted union employees based on hiring plans crafted per the business plan. Participate and oversee the recruitment, screening, and selection of internal and external candidates, per the area-specific Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
• Partner with Labor Relations and/or Business Partner on CBA-specific requirements, job descriptions, priority candidates, candidate restrictions, union inquiries, grievances, etc.
• Manage client relationships as assigned, addressing tactical and strategic issues associated with the area recruiting function.
• Help ensure the team’s compliance with established recruitment and hiring procedures, including those of the Human Resources and EEO/Diversity policies, including appropriate record keeping and related support functions.
• Ability to work with, administer, run s, track candidate activity, and train Hiring Managers on the Jobvite Applicant Tracking System as needed.
• Meet hiring targets established by Business Partners/Hiring Managers by sourcing qualified candidates through productive and cost-effective efforts that include mining Jobvite Talent Pool, direct sourcing, employee referral bonus program, and by bringing creative sourcing strategies to the table.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire industry knowledge and competitive market data.
• Serve as a communication liaison for everyone involved in the hiring process, including coordinating the interview process.
• Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Seven to Ten years of union recruitment or comparable experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment team within a union environment.
• Able to establish, manage and maintain client relationships.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to utilize multiple recruiting sources, including adherence to one or more Collective Bargaining Agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement recruiting plans, including employer promotion in the marketplace, placing postings and advertisements, candidate management, and interview/selection process management.
• Able to interact with senior practice members and influence processes at all levels.
• Experience with EEO policies and Affirmative Action plans
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure and offer recommendations at the executive level.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
