Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist. The successful candidate will provide full life cycle support and partner with all levels of management to understand qualifications and cultural fit for each department to attract and hire top talent for the full spectrum of Frontier Aerospace’s job openings, including both exempt and non-exempt positions. This position will be located in Newbury Park, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Sources, identifies, interviews, and recommends prospective employees for employment for exempt and non-exempt corporate, professional, technical, and manufacturing positions.
• Meet with stakeholders to review and understand role requirements, and to define the interview process.
• Work with team members and managers to design general and specific interview guidelines/questions.
• Participate in screening and interviewing.
• Organize and document post-interview feedback with the Interview teams and candidates.
• Creatively source talent: Build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive research, outreach, social media campaigns, and ongoing relationship management for future hiring
• Utilize and be knowledgeable of all business and social media sites for employment advertising
• Monitors quality of candidates and adequacy of sourcing efforts; anticipates and proactively addresses potential problems with recruitment efforts.
• Utilizes ATS to effect applicant and requisition processing, offer development, and applicant/requisition close out.
• Participates in activities and initiatives to enhance the Company’s talent acquisition program, including staffing forecasting, retention initiatives, etc.
• Applies expertise toward recommending process improvement of the overall staffing strategy, focusing on quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of fulfilling staffing needs.
• Supports On-boarding and orientations by assisting HR team with new hires.
• Back-up to HR team members.
• Visit educational/vocational schools for Job Fairs, career events.
• Ability to identify what the needs are and methods for improving the organization’s performance management, employee development, and employee engagement a plus.

Required Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and six (6) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience working within an ATS sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience supporting engineering requirements, preferably either in Aerospace, or manufacturing.
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Requires a solid knowledge of interviewing and hiring practices and the demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad spectrum of positions, including corporate, engineering, manufacturing operations, quality assurance, supply chain positions.
• Proven ability to source effectively on high level engineering skill sets.
• Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, ability to effectively schedule and prioritize workflow, and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, as well as negotiation skills.
• Must have strong multi-tasking skills and be able to work well under pressure.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change within an evolving group.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comfortable in a startup, high growth, environment.
• Familiarity with skill sets prevalent in a manufacturing and engineering environment (Engineering design, manufacturing and test, machinists, and technicians)

Travel required:

Likely frequent interoffice travel (25 miles one-way) required during setup of new facility (in Newbury Park, CA) and shutdown of old (in Simi Valley, CA).

Pay: Salary $72,000 to $125,000 DOE
