As we transition to a 24/7 operation, we are expanding our team and looking for reliable, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join us as Overnight Front Desk Coordinators. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and play a key role in supporting members during our overnight hours.
Position Overview
The Overnight Front Desk Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for members and guests during overnight operations. This role combines customer service, facility monitoring, membership administration, and general operational support to ensure the gym remains safe, organized, and welcoming throughout the night.
Successful candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests and assist with check-ins
- Verify memberships, guest access, and facility entry requirements
- Monitor facility access and ensure gym policies are followed
- Assist with membership inquiries, account updates, renewals, and general questions
- Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and other member communications
- Schedule facility tours, appointments, and bookings
- Process membership and retail transactions
- Conduct regular facility walkthroughs
- Monitor gym cleanliness and organization
- Re-rack weights and return equipment to designated locations as needed
- Ensure cleaning supplies and member amenities remain stocked
- Identify and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
- Prepare detailed shift reports for management
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional environment
- Support additional operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work independently and remain productive during overnight hours
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning gym management software
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling member concerns
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous front desk, customer service, hospitality, or fitness industry experience
- Experience with administrative or reception duties
- Sales or membership experience
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain certification
