General Description
Our organization is growing quickly and in one of the most challenging talent markets today. We are looking for a self-motivated, collaborative, resilient Snr Manager, Talent Acquisition and Workforce planning to join our team and help us scale. In this role, you will be focused on developing the strategy to meet current and future recruiting needs for the business, locally and internationally. You will touch all phases of talent management within the organization, from forecasting to recruiting to skills development. You will be working to formulate and drive the strategy that helps us identify, attract, and evaluate the next generation of talent at Freshpet. In this position, you will utilize your proven expertise in talent identification to build talent pools or specialized roles.

Responsibilities:

Create a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that helps establish a pipeline of best-in-class talent at hourly and salaried levels
  • Develop and own the sourcing strategies and activities with a team of recruiters to drive a high level of performance against aggressive hiring plans
  • Evolve and formalize Freshpet’s internship program into an engaging program that feeds our current pipeline with top talent candidates and SME’s.
  • Partner with head of Talent Management to develop the Freshpet Employer Value Proposition
  • Manage the recruitment budget across all locations and decrease company-wide costs associated with Agency spend.
  • Develop and execute best in class practices and drive process improvements that impact recruiting effectiveness and talent marketing campaigns
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment journey, all the way through to offer letters and onboarding while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience
  • Set up career events at all locations with support of local teams
  • Act as a recruitment subject matter expert through the partnership with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure all new hires meet our standards and fit our culture
  • Become a subject matter expert on talent analytics resources, both self service offerings + avenues for bespoke analysis
  • Utilize data to determine talent trends and plan for resource and capacity needs in the short and long term
  • Assist in the standardization of critical job titles and leveling of jobs
  • Analyze and leverage recruiting metrics to inform and modify strategies to continually meet and exceed the talent acquisition goals
  • Work through the HR Business Partners to understand the talent needs of the business and provide intelligence on market trends and labor movement
  • Maintain top quality vendor relationships to meet the pipeline needs of the organization

Work Experience Requirements
  • 8+ years of Recruiting and/or HR experience.
  • 5+ years leading a team.
  • Must have experience working with Hourly, high-volume recruitment
  • Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team.
  • Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience working through immigration processes and international markets
  • Workforce planning experience, focused on the movement of talent and forecasting of sourcing needs for today and tomorrow
  • Must be organized and pragmatic
    Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
