We are seeking a dedicated Picker & Packer to join our team in Howrah. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience who have completed at least their 12th grade education.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Picking Orders:** You will accurately select items from shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the right products are chosen and ready for packing.
– **Packing Products:** After picking, you will securely pack items to prevent damage during shipping. This includes using the right materials and following company packing guidelines.
– **Labeling Packages:** You will label packed items clearly and correctly with shipping information. This helps ensure timely delivery to the customer.
– **Maintaining Cleanliness:** It is essential to keep your workspace clean and organized. This includes cleaning up spills and properly disposing of packing materials.
– **Inventory Management:** You will help track inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to your supervisor. This supports efficient stock management.
– **Team Collaboration:** You will work closely with your team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and improve processes.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
Candidates should be detail-oriented and reliable, with a strong commitment to following instructions. Good communication skills are important for coordinating with team members and supervisors. Physical stamina is necessary, as the role involves standing for long periods and lifting items. A basic understanding of inventory systems and packaging techniques is a plus, but not required.
