We are looking for a Picker to join our team in Howrah. This role is ideal for individuals with little to no experience, making it perfect for recent school graduates. You will be responsible for selecting and preparing items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Selecting Items**: Accurately pick products according to orders to ensure the correct items are prepared for shipment. Attention to detail is crucial in this task to avoid errors.
2. **Packing Products**: Safely pack selected items to protect them during transportation. This includes using suitable packing materials and ensuring that packages are secure.
3. **Maintaining Inventory**: Keep track of inventory levels by updating stock records after each pick. This helps the team manage supplies effectively and ensures timely restocking.
4. **Assisting in Organization**: Help maintain a clean and organized work area. A tidy workspace improves efficiency and safety for everyone.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should have completed their 12th grade and possess basic reading and writing skills. Good organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential for this role. Since the job requires physical activity, applicants should be able to lift and move items without difficulty. Strong communication skills are also important for collaborating with team members and following instructions accurately. The role is full-time and requires individuals who can work effectively in an office environment.
