As an OT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surgical team and ensuring a smooth operation in the operating theatre. Your responsibilities will include:
– **Assisting in Surgical Procedures**: You will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to prepare the operating room and assist during surgeries, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
– **Equipment Management**: You will be responsible for checking, preparing, and maintaining surgical equipment to ensure that all tools are sterilized and ready for use.
– **Patient Care Preparation**: You will help prepare patients for surgery, including setting up their medical records and ensuring they are comfortable and informed before the procedure.
– **Post-Operative Support**: After surgeries, you will assist with cleaning and organizing the operating room and help transfer patients to recovery areas.
– **Inventory Control**: You will manage the inventory of surgical supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and readily available for operations.
To succeed in this role, you should have completed at least 12th grade and have a strong interest in healthcare. Previous experience is not mandatory but will be valued. You must be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions accurately, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working with a team while providing support during surgeries. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is also important.
