A class of 30 or a class of 1?

You’re a teacher, an LSA or a TA and there’s one student in your class that needs more support than others.

As a teacher, you’ve got to think about the class and dividing your time between 30.

As a TA or LSA, you need to focus on several students that need your support.
As an SEND Education Specialist, you can engage 1 young person with their education, being 100% focused and bespoke to their needs and requirements.

We’re looking for candidates from all walks of life, with a variety of experience engaging young people in their education, supporting them with their barriers to learning outside of a school environment.

What does a typical day look like?

• Support young people one-to-one who cannot access mainstream education
• 3 to 5 hour sessions and lesson planning within work hours
• Work with children who have SEND / SEMH needs
• Engage young people with a variety of barriers to their learning
• Inspire the hope for a better future

• Must be able to drive throughout Cambridgeshire
• Experience and understanding in SEND & SEMH
• Experience planning & delivering a tailored curriculum
• Unwavering commitment to Safeguarding
• Experience and resilience in engaging young people with often complex & challenging behaviours
