SHIFT LEADERS are our future Fresh Kitchen Leaders. In this role, the Shift Leader is developmental role that’s responsible for overseeing and ensuring a high energy, fun, and seamless shift for both team members and guests. The fundamentals of the role include focusing on food quality, guest experience, team support/ accountability, and overall shift success.
THE BASICS – Shift Leaders
o Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values
o Leads and inspires exceptional hospitality
o Responsible for helping ensure front line is stocked with proper levels of food, that’s made to our standards
o Develop and master knowledge of all menu items and FOH stations (Line and Cash)
o Ensure team maintains a clean/ sanitary and safe working environment throughout the shift
o Following essential operational policies and procedures, and helping ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and employment laws
o Participate in coaching and training hourly team members throughout the shift
o Ensuring all guests have an awesome guest experience (including assistance in handling any guest complaints)
o Responsible for helping ensure front line is stocked with proper levels of food, that’s made to our standards
o Maintaining the flow of the shift by constantly monitoring dining room, service line, and cash registers, and jumping in to help when needed

PRE-REQs – Shift Leaders
o 18 years of age or older
o Passion for food and people
o Awesome, Energetic Attitude and personality
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire other team members
o Ability to delegate, follow up, and properly hold team members accountable
o Strong time management skills, and ability to multi-task
o Strong written/ verbal communication and listening skills
o Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed (including nights and weekends)
o Willingness to learn and develop
o Must go through certification in all FOH positions (Line and Cash)
o Must pass food Safety Certification and Final Shift Leader Validation and Assessments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour
