THE BASICS

o Assist with Putting away and rotating produce and food orders

o Consistently checking all cooking items and tools for quality and cleanliness

oUse kitchen machinery including knives, ovens, grills, gas stoves, food processors, + blenders

properly, complying with food safety and sanitation standards

oFollowing food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring best in class practices consistently

oProperly open/ closing and cleaning your station to set yourself and other team members up for success

oMay assist with food prep from time to time

oPerform additional responsibilities (as requested) at any time

PRE-REQs

o 18 years of age or older, with a strong passion for food and people

o Previous culinary experience preferred, but not required

o Team player with a good attitude and works with a sense of urgency

o Ability to read and follow written recipes/ standards

o Reliable transportation to and from work

o Can work in both hot and cool environments

o Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend

o Self-accountable in upholding high standards

o Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed

o Willingness to learn and develop
