We are currently seeking full-time Production Technicians at our sterile compounding facility in Mississauga.

DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, Sterile Compounding Supervisor and/or Pharmacist in charge, the incumbent will efficiently maintain inventory, pick, decontaminate, visually inspect, label and pack all batches compounded at the Fresenius Kabi Hospital Compounding facility according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBR’s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution is an asset

Post-secondary education in science or related field

Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience

Must be able to understand and comply with standard operating procedures

Knowledge of GMP practices

Familiar with 5S processes and Lean Manufacturing Concepts

Must have the ability to work all shifts (i.e., morning and evening shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays) with excellent attendance record

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and productively as part of a team

Exceptional organization skills

Must possess problem solving skills

Strong verbal and communication skills

Strong work ethic and a respectful attitude
