Freedom Solar Power is looking for an enthusiastic Director of Talent Acquisition! As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will design, implement, and manage our recruitment program. You will take lead on developing, managing, and overseeing recruitment processes and strategies. The Director of Talent Acquisition will work closely with our executive team and other internal partners to manage sourcing, interviewing, and other talent acquisition duties. This is a new position due to company growth and will be based at our Austin HQ!

Collaborating with internal business partners to align talent needs with business goals.
*

• Managing high volume full-cycle recruitment for various position in all of our regions.
• Cold calling and conducting phone screens with candidates. Creating a short list of quality candidates and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
• Consistently closing 30-35 requisitions each month.
• Working closely with Freedom Solar Executive team regarding forecasting and workforce planning to ensure proper staffing.
• Designing and implementing a successful recruitment program (i.e. Creating intake forms, job requisitions request, etc.).
• Running reports and providing monthly recruitment metrics to members of executive team
• Leading weekly recruiting staff meeting to forecast work week, review hiring progress and other recruitment related topics
• Providing training, coaching, and mentoring with team of recruiters
• Assisting hiring managers with recruiting methods and interview questions.
• Staying abreast on current recruiting methods, best practices, market trends and other external/internal factors that impacts recruiting.
• Participating in job fairs, careers events and conferences to network and advocate for why Freedom is a great place to work.
• Completing other duties and projects as assigned by President and/or Chief Administrative Office

Qualifications: **
*

• 5+ years of high volume and full-cycle recruitment experience required
• Prior recruiting experience in a Talent Acquisitions Director, Manager or Team Lead capacity strongly desired
• Strong experience with sourcing and poaching candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms.
• Prior experience using ADP Workforce strong plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly experienced with cold calling candidates, vetting candidates through phone or virtual interviews, and candidate evaluation
