Position Summary

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will directly assist the Talent Acquisition Manager to help achieve organizational staffing goals by coordinating the effective recruitment, selection, and on-boarding of highly skilled candidates. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will engage passive candidates that are unable to be seen through our internal posting or the job boards, ensuring that our company’s talent acquisition initiatives to hire top talent are met.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying talent through creative recruiting campaigns
• Conducting pre-screens of candidates
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure candidate records are complete and that the recruitment process is accurately tracked
• Correspond with job applicants to notify them of opportunities
• Submit candidates to hiring managers for review, advocating for candidates to move forward in the hiring funnel
• Conducting Intake Sessions with Hiring Managers to obtain a detailed understanding of the keys to hire
• Oversee assigned regions and partner with Branch Managers, Director of Operations and other hiring managers to successfully staff up existing and new branch locations
• Mentor and support assigned recruiters, acting as a liaison between hiring managers and support recruiters to ensure all parties are on the same page regarding recruitment priorities
• Manage requisitions for assigned territory/region, updating priority levels or any modifications requested by hiring team
• Partner with Talent Coordinating team to ensure a seamless on-boarding and Day 1 experience for New Hires
• Attend Job Fairs to gain face-to-face interaction with candidates and also other competitors within the Solar Industry, gaining brand awareness for the organization.

Qualification Requirements

• 4+ years of successful Recruiting Experience in a similarly fast paced or high-volume environment, is required
• 2+ years of experience with recruiting for various levels of positions across multiple departments and locations, is required
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication
• Exceptional time management; proactive with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, working through escalated situations, overcoming obstacles when filling high priority positions, providing solutions to overcome bottlenecks in the recruiting funnel
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS), is required
