Position Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition – Operations is responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition – Operations team, designing strategies for attracting qualified candidates and implementing screening processes that result in successful onboarding. The Director of Talent Acquisition – Operations will be responsible for improving the operational recruitment processes, the development of the employment brand and maintaining the talent pipelines for the Operations Department. The role will work closely with the Operations Leadership Team in building strong partnerships throughout the company, with a strong focus on bringing meaningful, best practice approaches to Freedom Forever ’s talent management practices. This role will drive execution excellence and will partner with the VP of Operations and Talent Acquisition Manager in designing talent strategy, leveraging and maximizing the Freedom Forever brand within the scope of the Operations Department. This role is responsible for leveraging technology to streamline the talent acquisition and onboarding process, resulting in qualified candidates and positive new employee experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and provide guidance to the talent acquisition team, to enhance their skills for successful talent acquisition.
• Provide leadership for building out a hiring brand that meets the talent needs throughout the Operations Department.
• Develop creative key strategies and initiatives for recruiting diverse talent through various channels such as social media, industry, trade schools, local communities and universities.
• Support acquisition activity to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the acquisition and onboarding cycle.
• Provide Operations Management with strategic plans on Talent Acquisition issues across multiple functions.
• Ensure continuity and consistency of candidate acquisition strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices.
• Lead vendor management for the Talent Acquisition – Operations team to ensure that current and future investments are optimized for the recruiting function.
• Lead the development of talent pipelines and programs to ensure the growth of talent pools to support the needs of the business and develop internal bench strength and succession planning.
• Lead, guide and develop a team of qualified recruitment professionals, including managing team capacity and requisition allocation to ensure all hiring goals are achieved and business talent vacancies are minimized.
• Build strong relationships and partnerships with hiring managers, leaders and executives to advise on best practices, key hiring decisions and workforce planning.
• Partner with Marketing team to develop and enhance the employment branding positioning and employer value proposition.
• Work closely with leadership on key initiatives for the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to meet the changing needs of the talent acquisition function and work to remove barriers throughout the recruitment process.
• Develop department training initiatives that support hiring best practices.
• Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness, accountability and performance measurements.
• Accountable for the overall Talent Acquisition – Operations strategy and performance objectives.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive Recruitment Management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
• In depth knowledge of full cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
• Hands on experience, posting jobs on Social Media and Job Boards
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, sourcing and recruiting marketing tools
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strategic and creative mindset, with a meticulous attention to detail
